[Xen-users] how to create RedHat 8.0 raw image from existing Guest OS
Hello all: I have Xen running with a couple of RedHat 8.0 Gueset OSs running on that. I would like to create an RedHat 8.0 from one of my exising Guest OS running RedHat 8.0 so that I can move around this image file on different Xen machines. I followed the links: http://www.fedoralegacy.org/docs/yum-rh8.php http://www.fedoraproject.org/wiki/FedoraXenQuickstart I am able to install yum-2.0.3-5.rh.fr.i386.rpm on my exisitng Guest OS running RedHat 8.0. When in the last step to run the command yum --installroot=/mnt -y groupinstall Base according http://www.fedoraproject.org/wiki/FedoraXenQuickstart, I got the following errors. I omit the other part in the beginning: [deps: gtk+ 1:1.2.10-22.i386] [deps: python 2.2.1-17.i386] [deps: chkconfig 1.3.6-3.i386] [deps: psmisc 20.2-6.i386] [deps: gnupg 1.0.7-14.i386] [deps: cracklib-dicts 2.7-18.i386] [deps: lvm 1.0.3-9.i386] [deps: popt 1.7.1-1.8x.i386] [deps: usermode 1.63-1.i386] [deps: db4 4.0.14-14.i386] [deps: glibc-common 2.3.2-4.80.8.i386] [deps: mktemp 1.5-16.i386] [deps: krbafs 1.1.1-6.i386] [deps: fontconfig 2.0-3.i386] [deps: net-snmp 5.0.9-2.80.1.i386] [deps: syslinux 1.75-3.i386] [deps: perl-Filter 1.28-9.i386] [deps: libattr 2.0.8-3.i386] [deps: openssh 3.4p1-7.i386] [deps: pyOpenSSL 0.5.0.91-1.i386] [deps: rpm-python 4.1.1-1.8x.i386] [deps: krb5-libs 1.2.5-15.i386] [deps: expat 1.95.4-1.i386] [deps: freetype 2.1.2-7.i386] [deps: libtool-libs 1.4.2-12.i386] Getting mtr-0.49-7.i386.rpm Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/yum", line 60, in ? yummain.main(sys.argv[1:]) File "yummain.py", line 288, in main File "clientStuff.py", line 983, in create_final_ts File "clientStuff.py", line 1108, in grab File "urlgrabber.py", line 228, in retrygrab File "urlgrabber.py", line 315, in urlgrab AttributeError: BadStatusLine instance has no attribute ''args'' Any idea what went wrong ?
