[Xen-devel] Is there a reason why Xen supports NMI reports to dom0 but not to domU
Hi , Following the existing code which allows Xen to report NMI events to dom0, I was able to do the same to domU. Is there a reason why this was not done in the first place ? - Ashwin _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel

Dom0 manages the host platform, whereas this is abstracted from domUs. So there''s not necessarily any reason to want to pass through host NMI events to domU. -- Keir On 01/09/2009 13:38, "Ashwin Pankaj" <ashwin.pankaj@lsi.com> wrote:> Hi , > > Following the existing code which allows Xen to report NMI events to > dom0, I was able to do the same to domU.
