Xen devel - Aug 2009 - request for suggestions on project Rootkit blocking using virtualization on xen

hi,
     i am newbie to this list.I was interested to take project on
virtualization.
    after googling i got project on

    it is about rootkit blocking using virtualization on xen.
    will any body can tell me that concept till now not implemented
and that is feasible or    not(i  know c lang,unix kernel internel
concepts and module programming)
 what''s the avg time period for that project.
  suggest me any prereading''s for that project.
       iam keenly waiting for the replay.
