RE: [Xen-devel] xen 3.4.1 fails to boot with iommu=1 on d5400xs intel skulltrail using e5410 xeon cpus http://www.pa
After you change your BIOS''s VT-d setting from Disabled to Enabled (or from Enabled to Disabled), can you try power cycle your host (unplug the power cord and wait for some time)? If this works, it would be a BIOS issue. RE: [Xen-devel] xen 3.4.1 fails to boot with iommu=1 on d5400xs intel skulltrail using e5410 xeon cpus http://www.pa
hi thank you for your suggestion i happened to try this already several times as i was having anoter seperate issue with memory speeds in my bios intel 0821 bios for this board reports my memory as 800mhz (because it is 800mhz) but the newest intel bios (intel 1353 bios) only reports the memory as 667 (even though it is 800mhz) and when i select cpuid value limit enabled in the bios the computer wont boot (with the latest bios "1353") but anyway yes i have power cycled several times after enabling both vt and vt-d in the bios Cui, Dexuan wrote:> > After you change your BIOS''s VT-d setting from Disabled to Enabled (or > from Enabled to Disabled), can you try power cycle your host (unplug the > power cord and wait for some time)?
