[Xen-devel] where is hypervisor''s kernel log? (xm dmesg just prints the ring buffer)
Hi, I have a quick question: Where is the hypervisor''s log file? I have a lot of messages from xen hypervisor''s printk(KERN_INFO "xm dmesg" just displays the latest ones. Is there any way to access all the messages from hypervisor? Thanks, Weiming _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel

You can set up xenconsoled to log hypervisor messages to a file. I don¹t recall the exact command-line options, but that¹s where you should look. -- Keir On 10/3/08 02:46, "weiming" <zephyr.zhao@gmail.com> wrote:> Hi, > > I have a quick question: > > Where is the hypervisor''s log file? > > I have a lot of messages from xen hypervisor''s printk(KERN_INFO > "xm dmesg" just displays the latest ones. > > Is there any way to access all the messages from hypervisor? > > Thanks, > Weiming > > > > _______________________________________________ > Xen-devel mailing list > Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com > http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel_______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel
