Hi, I''m having trouble trying to get my external hard disk to be loaded in dom0. Ok... here''s the deal. I''ve got a USB2.0 pcmcia card connected to my laptop and the external hd connected to this card. I''ve recompiled the xen0 kernel to include ehci_hcd, usb_storage, sd_mod, scsi_mod , ohci_hcd, uhci_hcd, yenta_socket and I''m still unable to detect the hd. The dmesg output seems to show that the USB Mass Storage support is registered but ehci_hcd not loaded as well as SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Kelvin __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! When I tried, with 2.0.3, I didn''t manage to get any PCMCIA attached devices to work in dom0. I think this has something to do with the way device discovery is done in Xen. If you have a USB port on a controller on the motherboard then your USB storage ought to work in dom0. ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users. Someone was trying to get this working some time ago and made some progress. I don''t think it ever fully worked though. It should work in 2.1, once the PCI discovery code is in dom0.
