Is it possible to boot a xen0 kernel in VMware/bochs/qemu/UML? I have only one computer and it is quite hard for me to play with the xen0 kernel configuration without serial console output. thanks Ralf ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users. > Is it possible to boot a xen0 kernel in > VMwareYes, this is known to work.> /bochs/Bochs has pretty decent machine emulation so I think this should work fine. I don''t know of anyone trying it recently.> qemu/I tried this recently so I know it works.> UML?Nope. Xen has to be run on bare hardware (or a virtual machine that looks like bare hardware).
