Sorry for this dumb question. Maybe I am not familar with Python enough, but I saw create.make_domain() will call XendClient.xend_domain_create(), which in turn calls XendProtocol.xendPost. But xendPost() seems to call xendRequest(), which does nothing but "raise NotImplementedError()". What''s going on? How is a domain created then? I will be appreciated for your kind help. Sorry, My mistake. The xendRequest is implemented in class SynchXendClientProtocol. I missed that. -x On Fri, 3 Dec 2004, Xin Zhao wrote:> Sorry for this dumb question. > > Maybe I am not familar with Python enough, but I saw > > create.make_domain() will call XendClient.xend_domain_create(), which in > turn calls XendProtocol.xendPost. > > But xendPost() seems to call xendRequest(), which does nothing but "raise > NotImplementedError()". How is a domain created then?Probably the method really called is SyncXendClientProtocol.xendRequest, which is a subclass of XendClientProtocol that implements the xendRequest method. This class is at the bottom of XendProtocol.py HTH, Mark On Friday 03 December 2004 20:03, Xin Zhao wrote:> Sorry for this dumb question. > > Maybe I am not familar with Python enough, but I saw > > create.make_domain() will call XendClient.xend_domain_create(), which in > turn calls XendProtocol.xendPost. > > > I will be appreciated for your kind help. > > Xin > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide > Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users. > Discover which products truly live up to the hype.
