Summary: ScrolledWindow very messed up on Windows

Initial Comment:
The ScrolledWindow example within bigdemo starts creating artifacts all over the
screen outside the window area. It actually rendered my whole desktop unusable
with the CPU whistling, and had to restart using the power button. Erk!
