So it seems we've been the only two people on Earth expecting improvements on DC + RFC2307 with 4.2?

[PATCH 0/21] Integrate processor.h
Hi, This series integrate the processor.h header. There are a lot of things that are deeply architectural differences between architectures, but I've done my best to come to a settlement. With this series, I am very close to have selectable paravirt for x86_64, It applies ontop of today's x86 git, mm branch.

Mmmm interesting. I've been looking for a while to 4.2 precisely for this reason (rfc2307 to get consistent UID on DC) and the commit I found was only a special

[PATCH] Always notify a virtio_ring when it's full
I saw that the tx timer was removed in your patch queue but you weren't notifying when full. I decided to do it here instead of in the error case on add_buf for really no great reason other than I thought it made more sense for it to happen in the notify(). Test failure w/ libguestfs-1.0.61 on RHEL5 -- needs virtio support in guest kernel?
See attachment for full logs. On the Enterprise we run Samba 2.0.5a as > PDC and export the mounted Shares with Samba to our WIN NT 4.0 > Servicepack 3 Clients. Erk! It's generally a bad idea to import data via NFS and re-export it via Samba: the data has to make two trips across the net, which doubles the latency and the load on the net. I recommend running an smb server on each machine where the disks are. Sometimes you just can't, and so Samb...
