Ive got a big problem: I cant aim, if i move my mouse, shortly the character aims in the direction, but it will be resetted after few milli seconds. I think it could be missing driver in my system, but i dont know what: Ive installed dbus, udev, evdev and the all xorg-packages (including xf86-input-mouse) - Experimenting with xorg.conf didnt helped, i went from NO conf-file to nvidia-xconfig automatic config file, tried everything to change, but it didnt took effect. - Install another wine version didnt help. - Creating a new user account with new wineconfig and new .wine folder, everything new, didnt helped, too. - Using another window manager (icewm instead of kdm) even didnt helped. I dont know what to do. I dont changed anything to my registry, just entered winecfg (to create a new .wine), changing NOTHING !!, copied the game to drive_c and started it. And TADAAAA the problem was still there.
What distro, Wine version, graphics card/drivers, xserver version, and what game is this?
ok, only if i deactivate "applications can warp mouse" AND !!! activate a virutal desctop under winecfg, i can play games. I think it has to do with the mouse-"reset", wine does so that the mouse cannot leave the window. Nobody has ideas whats wrong with my system ?
like i said: wine version and game doesnt matter. I use arch linux, every package is up to date (2 hours ago i took a whole sys update) xf86-input-keyboard 1.6.1-2 xf86-input-mouse 1.7.2-1 xf86-input-evdev 2.7.0-2 xorg-server 1.12.0-1 xorg-server-common 1.12.0-1 xorg-xinput 1.5.99.1-1 xorg-utils 7.6-8 I listed not all of my system, but the packages, which matter i think

Probably not :( but thanks for your help. X-server 1.11 is very old version and they say the bug is there too, but i dont remember that i had this bug in past. Since X-server 1.12 i had a posting, complaining about alwaysoffscreen rendering doesnt work anymore. (I didnt know that it was because xserver 1.12, only 2 days ago i recognized that the date of the 1.12 update matches perfectly.) But shooter ran fine and without troubles. I reinstalled my arch linux today and it didnt changed anything. It is not fun anymore !!
Hi stonix_015, there may have been different versions of xserver 1.11.x, some of them working fine with wine, so maybe you could reinstall the xserver version you had before, i.e. the one that comes by default with arch linux (maybe from an old install dvd, before updating anything).
IT WORKED !!!! WEYHOOOOO I know exactly that i didnt had this bug with 1.11.99.902 / 903 AND 1.12 I passed all of the xserver updates since ive got my linux system here. So i made a PGKBUILD with xorg-server package 1.11.99.903. I was wondering that Xorg as itself worked after it because i didnt invested much work and i expected lots of other failures. But my own xorg-package worked and i had got still the same error. After it i added your linked patch file to my package and TADAAAA !!!! suddenly it works fine. Thats the only reason i often change back to kubuntu: Arch linux has often not traceable errors and bugs, other system not have. :( But for next time im going to have lots of fun still playing games with linux and winehq, thank you for your support
