Does anyone have a way to workaround to a winzip Self-extractable that bombs in wine? TIA Kevin
never had one bomb in wine.... they seem to work fine. what specifically happens when you try?

These are the .exe type of self extractable. the winzip generated ones. including winzip install all bomb out and I get a wine error.

It is usually just a zip file with an extractor and configuraion added at the start of the file... try unzip file.exe from the *nix shell...
