wine users - Oct 2009 - Morrowind cannot find MP3 file

Hi,

I recently tried to play The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, to test out Wine
1.2.32 and my switch from ALSA/pulseaudio to OSS4. However, I'm getting a
cannot play Data Files/Music/Special/morrowind title.mp3 (or similar) error, and
pressing Escape or clicking OK causes the program to exit immediately. The file
exists and plays back fine with mpg123, and the Bethesda Softworks music plays
fine.

I've seen this problem being mentioned before - is there some sort of
regression? It worked fine a few versions back (albeit under ALSA)

Either your system doesn't have libmpg3 that Wine can use, or your Wine was
compiled without libmpg3 support.
