wine users - Oct 2009 - Audio Delayed

I have no problem running games, i'm using the lastest wine version
released. Ubuntu karmic 9.10 (9.04 with same problem)

So... all is fine when i run the game for first time, but after less than 1 min,
example Call of Duty 4, if i shoot... the bullet sound is like1 second delayed,
same in counter strike source, and others games....

any idea of whats happening?

audio: Analog devices AD1985 i think (sound max)
alsa drivers v1.0.20 
1gb ram
nvidia geforce 6600gt drivers 1.85.
ubuntu 9.10 karmic

Try disabling pulseaudio and let Wine talk directly to ALSA. It's one of the
known PA bugs.

and how can i disable pulseaudio in ubuntu karmic? the /etc/asound.conf file
doesnt exists

asound.conf is for ALSA, not PulseAudio.

Do a sudo apt-get remove pulseaudio. Doing anything else will result in
PulseAudio just being relaunched as soon as you start an application with audio,
