wine users - Oct 2009 - Battlefield 2 Crash: Out of Range

Hello,

my BF2 crashes after I try to start it, my LCD gives the following error
"Out of Range" and resets my default desktop resolution.

I tried a variety of refresh rates in my BF2 config but I still can't get it
to work.

You might not have the supported resolutions configured in X org.  Enable a
virtual desktop in winecfg then start BF2.
