You might want to try some native Linux utilities like aMule and dvd-rip, if you don't wish to post more informative testing output for those apps that don't work with Wine. Just saying it doesn't work and that you aren't willing to spend any of your own time (creating bug/app accounts) to fix it is not going to inspire anyone to spend their time helping you.
