With all the 3D offerings coming out now, I was wondering what it would take to have support for some of them in Wine? Would it be enough to have linux driver (from ati/nvidia) support and the DX layer would take care of it based on the code in the games? Or would it require implementing a lot of code that hasn't been written yet because it's not critical (like 5.1 surround)? Knowing this would help know what is the bottleneck for this development when asking for features from driver developers.
