wine users - Aug 2008 - Full Tilt Poker software no longer works

I've been playing fine for months with a couple of very minor issues.

Tuesday (August 5, 2008) Full Tilt did a software upgrade and I began receiving
this message when trying to launch the software:

(I was running Ubuntu Gutsy 7.10 and Wine 0.9.54 i386).

I uninstalled/installed the Full Tilt software and got the same message.

I then upgraded to Wine 1.0.0 and no longer get the runtime error message and
can login, but after doing so I cannot "View Table" (clicking the
button results in nothing happening), therefore I cannot play.

When attempting to close out of the Full Tilt application, it locks up and about
half the time a "Force Quit" box comes up and half the time it
doesn't and I have to go to a terminal screen and kill it.

How did you uninstall? Wine's uninstall doesn't completely replace
~/.wine, which is what usually has to to be done. If you used uninstall, try
deleting or renaming ~/.wine, then reinstall the program. A new ~/.wine will be
created automatically.

You could also try upgrading to 1.1.2. If you do, reinstall your program
afterwards.
