wine users - May 2008 - Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 installation failed.

I get to a decent point where the installation is initializes but I get a
nostalgic error report with the problems being two .tmp files. Any ideas for
this? Also, the new Wine update makes the Sony Vegas 7 installation work
flawlessly which didn't wasn't the case before...

.net 2.x does not work on Wine yet.

No. It just needs .NET Framework 2 in order to work. Once that's installed,
Vegas 7 will finally work under Wine.
