I've been using Wine and Linux(Fedora) for a couple of months now. The only program I'm using with Wine is Manga Studio. I've been having several problems with running it though. When it opens, all of the tool palletes would not be part of the main window, and I'd have to hide/show palletes to get them to show up. Well, today, I was messing around with the window options, and turned up the DPI setting, not knowing it would make everything HUGE. I can't get to the slide bar to turn it back down, and I've tried uninstalling wine, and reinstalling it, but the options are the same. Now I can't use MS, and I don't know what to do to get my old settings back with Wine. HELP!!!!
Ok, guys, figured it out looking at the faqs. I kind of panicked and didn't think to look there first. I'm still kind of new at using Wine/Linux. However, if anyone has any tips on how to resolve my issues with Manga Studio, I'd be thankful. -Sometimes when I minimize the window, when I restore it, the window doesn't redraw and none of the menus work (all I see is my background instead of the picture I'm drawing) -When I start up, the tool palettes are outside the main window and I have to hide/show palettes to make them show up (or just close them). It's not a big problem, but it's annoying to do everytime I start it up. Also, does anyone know if I would have problems running SimCity 4 under Wine?
Thanks! I checked the AppDB, and it seems that both programs are gold rank. Another major problem I've encountered with Manga Studio though is that whenever I try to use the text tool, it causes the program to crash. Is that because the fonts are different between Windows and Linux or something?
I've been looking through the archives for that script, but it seems like trying to find a needle in a haystack. What year/month should I be looking in?
