Hello! I would like to launch this EXE file (http://downloads.marketingtips.com/lead-ebooks/FoolproofSuccessStrategies.exe). This is an ebook viewer application, it does not require install, but it requires Internet Explorer 4 or higher. I don't know, should I install Internet Explorer first, or does Wine contants the requires libraries? Does it make any difference if I would install Internet explorer? Here are the errors I got (I did not install IE before I tried to run the provided EXE file): Code: err:bitmap:StretchDIBits Invalid bitmap fixme:wininet:InternetGetConnectedState always returning LAN connection. fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW INTERNET_OPTION_SEND/RECEIVE_TIMEOUT not supported on protocol 1 fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option 7 STUB fixme:shdocvw:PersistStreamInit_InitNew (0x185c40) errle:ITypeInfo_fnInvoke did not find member id -514, flags 0x2! errle:ITypeInfo_fnInvoke did not find member id -504, flags 0x2! fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW INTERNET_OPTION_SEND/RECEIVE_TIMEOUT not supported on protocol 1 fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option 7 STUB fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW INTERNET_OPTION_SEND/RECEIVE_TIMEOUT not supported on protocol 1 fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option 7 STUB fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW INTERNET_OPTION_SEND/RECEIVE_TIMEOUT not supported on protocol 1 fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option 7 STUB fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW INTERNET_OPTION_SEND/RECEIVE_TIMEOUT not supported on protocol 1 fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option 7 STUB fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW INTERNET_OPTION_SEND/RECEIVE_TIMEOUT not supported on protocol 1 fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option 7 STUB fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW INTERNET_OPTION_SEND/RECEIVE_TIMEOUT not supported on protocol 1 fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option 7 STUB fixme:shdocvw:navigate_url Unsupported arguments fixme:wininet:InternetGetConnectedState always returning LAN connection. fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW INTERNET_OPTION_SEND/RECEIVE_TIMEOUT not supported on protocol 1 fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option 7 STUB errle:ITypeInfo_fnInvoke did not find member id -514, flags 0x2! errle:ITypeInfo_fnInvoke did not find member id -504, flags 0x2! errle:ITypeInfo_fnInvoke did not find member id -514, flags 0x2! errle:ITypeInfo_fnInvoke did not find member id -504, flags 0x2! errle:ITypeInfo_fnInvoke did not find member id -514, flags 0x2! errle:ITypeInfo_fnInvoke did not find member id -504, flags 0x2! fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW INTERNET_OPTION_SEND/RECEIVE_TIMEOUT not supported on protocol 1 fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option 7 STUB fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW INTERNET_OPTION_SEND/RECEIVE_TIMEOUT not supported on protocol 1 fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option 7 STUB fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW INTERNET_OPTION_SEND/RECEIVE_TIMEOUT not supported on protocol 1 fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option 7 STUB fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW INTERNET_OPTION_SEND/RECEIVE_TIMEOUT not supported on protocol 1 fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option 7 STUB fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW INTERNET_OPTION_SEND/RECEIVE_TIMEOUT not supported on protocol 1 fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option 7 STUB fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW INTERNET_OPTION_SEND/RECEIVE_TIMEOUT not supported on protocol 1 fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option 7 STUB Is it any way to launch this program? No virus, no spyware, no rootkit. Tested with CounterSpy and Nod32, even with ZoneAlarm antivirus. Even installed on my XP system, and I'm still alive (also my system). Also installed on Ubuntu with Wine, no problem. But check the main domain (marketingtips.com), it is hacker safe: https://www.scanalert.com/RatingVerify?ref=www.marketingtips.com It has Alexa rank 9200, it is a very established and old site. Do you need more proof? Please help, any chance to make this program work?

This is just a sample ebook. The problem is, I use this ebook creator, but I would like to make sure that my compiled ebooks will run on Linux. So I don't want to run this specific ebook, but all the ebooks created with this software. BTW the main domain was registered in 1996 and it has page rank 5, I don't know what's your problem. Should I show an another ebook?

"Via mass email blasts, right?" I don't know why do you think that. Why would I send spam? I have a technical issue here and you start complaining about random things like file name, content, spam emails. How does it relate to my problem? The linked site is not mine. I ask here a technical question and you call me a spammer, that's ridiculous.
The problem with your "ebook" program is that it tries to go online. Why?

Yes it was a random choice. Yes it requires internet connection to activate the ebook with the specified username/password. Note that you resolved an exact same issue recently: http://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?t=123 If you resolved an exact same issue before, why treat this issue differently? Read the quoted thread: the topic author wanted to run an ebook viewer, which required internet connection. You resolved his issue quickly, you even created a bug report. And what happens now? I use a same program from a different publisher, and you think that it is spyware. The only difference is that the domain name associated with my issue is 11 years old (registered in 1996). The ebook viewer wants to establish a connection to this old domain name. So could you tell me what is the difference between my issue and this thread: http://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?t=123 ?
