This is an ebook viewer application, it does not require install, but it requires Internet Explorer 4 or higher. I don't know, should I install Internet Explorer first, or does Wine contants the requires libraries? Does it make any difference if I would install...

reading -- and editing -- ebooks
Last week I bought a couple books, not ebooks. I considered buying the
ebook, but don't want to need a special device/appliance to read it.
I'd much prefer to read ebooks on the Linux (CentOS) machine I'm already
using.
Also, I'd like to be able to programmatically convert the ebook into a
format I can edit myself, e.g., HTML...

samba doesn't map to guest account
...6 hours non-stop trying to solve this issue I decided to
contact the list!
I actually just want to mount an samba share as guest via "mount -t cifs
...", but I alway get a "mount error 13 = Permission denied".
I tried the following (and many else)
mount -t cifs //172.16.0.3/ebooks /mnt/ebooks -o guest
mount -t cifs //172.16.0.3/ebooks /mnt/ebooks -o
user=someuser,password=somepass
(both also with the sec options none,ntlm,ntlmi,ntlmv2,ntlmv2i or smbfs
instead of cifs) and always got "mount error 13 = Permission denied". I
just wanted samba to map me to the guest...

While I've never tried it, it's my understanding that you can use calibre to remove the drm encryption on a purchased ebook so you can read it with

Dear all,
I run
R CMD build --compact-vignettes="both" gRbase
and/or

and in the log from r-devel (on winbuilder) I get

Dovecot eBook
Hi Timo
I have a strange question. I bought the Dovecot Book off Amazon. I can easily prove it with a picture and/or my receipt off Amazon. I still have it o my library but I don?t like to travel around with it. Is there a way for me to get a PDF copy? I just checked Amazon and there is still no PDF version available there.

Calibre is cross platform. Well, at least it runs in Linux (and macOS and Windows) but I?d assume getting it to run in FreeBSD is possible.
