wine users - Jan 2007 - Learnine Wine

Hello To All
    I am new to Linux (Ubuntu) and I want to learn how to run Doom3 and or Half
Life2
    What I need is a stept by stept instruction on how to do this...
    Can any one help me on this one.

You don't need Wine to run Doom3.
For Half-Life 2, read it's AppDB page:

Doom3 has a Linux version : http://zerowing.idsoftware.com/linux/doom/

As for Half life and other applications under Wine, AppDB is your
