Yuheng, how many times do I have to tell you to reply to the list email rather than my email address? I'm going to stop responding if it happens again. Here's a copy of your email so that the list can see it.> I am very sorry, can you just be a little more specific??? tell me exactly what I need to do, I > went and read on the site you gave me and I also search for appDB, and it shows that it > should work, but I am really confuse of what to do, please please help me, thanks youI really don't know how to help you. -- () ASCII Ribbon Campaign /\ - against HTML mail & vCards

If X crashed, you either have hit a bug in X or a bug in your graphics card's X driver. So the first question is: what graphics card are you using, and did you install a closed-source driver? If you did, try using an open-source driver instead. Debian Etch is still being tested, and is not released yet, so you should probably contact the Debian developers and report this as a bug against their X server. You might try installing Ubuntu 06.11 on a separate partition or hard driver, or booting it live from cd, and seeing if the problem exists there, too. I bet it won't, since that uses a different X server. - Dan -- Wine for Windows ISVs: http://kegel.com/wine/isv
