wine users - Aug 2006 - installation of "Civ 4", "Matrix: Path of Neo", etc.

Hi all

When I try to install some games, an error screen like the one in the 
attachment appears. What can I do?

I use plain Wine 0.9.19.

Sorry, if I askes soem questions that could be in the FAQ. But I'm doing 
now a rigid testing of Wine to see how good it works.

File a bug report at http://bugs.winehq.org (after first making sure there
isn't already one).
There are three bugs open for Civ 4 already:

If those don't match what you're seeing, please file a new one.

That's great!

BTW when filing bugs related to installer problems I usually
run with
  WINEDEBUG=+msi,+text setup.exe > log.txt 2>&1
  bzip2 log.txt
and then attach log.txt.bz2 to the bug report.  That lets the
developers see the message in the dialog box, among other things.
