wine users - Mar 2006 - Disabling FreeType

Sorry if this is a repeat, but I couldn't find it in the archives or
anywhere.

How do I disable FreeType in the latest version? It used to be easy, in the 
config file, but I can't find it anywhere in the winecfg menus or in the 
registry Wiki page.
