wine users - Nov 2005 - Oracle Client 9.x.x

Hi.

Anybody knows if Oracle Client 9.x.x works in Wine ?

I try the latests versions (0.9, 0.9.1, 0.9.2) but the Oracle Universal
Installer (version 2.x.x) does not finishes.

I don't understand, is there any reason for you not using the native
version of Oracle?

Although I think the Oracle client will work emulated, I don't think
it'll be very useful - it will not offer connectivity to third-part
applications such as TORA (a TOAD replacement on Linux), which is its
main benefit.
