what's the point of trying to make any windows app. work in
linux..ie<wine>
if linux has a realplayer port, conversely ..why not just use windows 
for native apps.
because linux is more stable, open source system, and getting realplayer 
to *just work*
solves other more important issues.

If nobody uses native linux software but emulates everything on wine, nobody
will have an incentive
to write linux software in the first place. Also the native version of
realplayer will integrate in
your system much better than the windows version emulated on wine. The
development team will get
realplayer to *just work* some time in the future, but the priority is programs
that don't have a
linux version, and lots of windows software doesn't have a linux port.
