wine users - Mar 2003 - fork in the road

I've had limited success so far with Wine, though I do believe it has 
more to do with my 'skillz' or lack thereof.  ;-)  I'm pretty sure I
have the old versions uninstalled (oops, 20030318 is a developer's 
version; bye-bye), but now when I test sol.exe on a newly installed 
20020605 rpm, I get:

$ wine sol.exe
wine: relocation error: /usr/lib/wine/libntdll.dll.so: symbol __fork, 
version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference

I have a Windows ME partition but have decided instead to act like I 
don't.  I copied sol.exe into my home directory.  Is this a path-related 
problem?

the software is in alpha state then 20030318 isnt a developer version
at all...
the rpm you installed is really too old and is compiled for an older
version of the glibc. 

if you dont want 'developer' versions, 20030318 is the best choice you
can do.
