Hi, Maybe you've talked about this many times before, but i've got a problem with DirectX. When i try to run any application that uses DirectX it just tells me that i don't have it installed on my system. The fact is that i do have it installed, and works fine in Windows ME, maybe the version is too recent? i'm using DirectX 7. My system is: Linux Redhat 6.2, Windows ME, DirectX 7, Wine 1.0 preview 3 from codeweavers, and a Pentium II @ 350 Mhz. Thanks for your help Cheers Joseba

You should NOT try to emulate the directX from windows that won't work. Install the transgaming patch - this is kind of a directX version specially written for wine. www.transgaming.com (or something like that ... ) Jan
