How do I install the DirectX-patch from Transgaming? I run the Wine that came with Mandrake 7.2. I've tried to run the patches in all the folders that has something to do with wine. I'm using "patch -p1 < wine-something". It just says that it couldn't find the file to patch. >Simple: you don't :-)???>winex.sourceforge.net, CVS tree...I don't have CVS and they haven't uploaded their files to sourceforge yet. But I have the files now. What is the matter with the patches? What is it all about. I'm downloading it from Windows (I don't have a Linux-box with internet) and then transferring the files (via SAMBA) to Linux. But what files should I download and how should I install them??? I've never tried CVS before. Now I've made it work. It was actually quite simple. I erased everything, that had anything to do with Wine, from my harddisk. Then I installed the Codeweavers-wine and it worked. Exept for the mouse. When I enter the game (Caesar 3) then the cursor (where it is pushing) is pointing about 2 cm further up than the cursor-"icon" is showing. As soon as I press the first button, the cursor dissaperes completly? Why could that be? All that needed to be done was that I should change the screen-resoultion from 1024x768 to 800x600. Thanks for all the help you've given my. Now I'm gonna play some C3 :-) Mikkel _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
