wine users - Feb 2001 - Codeweavers: Configuration Problem

Redhat 7.1 i386 kernen is 2.2.16-22.
itcl version 3.1.0-46
wish is installed in /usr/bin/wish
TCL version is 8.4

Upon invoking wine config I get the following error

Error: Invoking 'wish Main.itcl' in /opt/wine/bin/winesetuptk appears to
have failed

Any ideas....
