[Vorbis] Does anyone know of any car Ogg-Vorbis players?
Hello all, There are quite a few of my friends that are looking for new stereos for their cars. They have a large proportion of their music in Ogg-Vorbis format and are having no luck finding anything that is able to support the files. Can anyone offer any suggestions? Many/most car stereos, even factory radios, have adapters that aren't very expensive that can be connected to them to allow aux inputs. I use my Treo 600 in my car this way. It also doubles as a hands-free phone system as well. If you have any questions on a setup like this feel free to drop me a line. Scions come with aux in. It sounds a lot better than adapters. Stereo shops will install them. I was told it would run about $200 for installation, but I saw some instructions somewhere, I think Hydrogenaudio, that said it was a simple inexpensive job. --- Ralph Giles <giles@xiph.org> wrote:> On Wed, Feb 15, 2006 at 04:03:09PM +1300, Aaron > Whitehouse wrote: > > > There are quite a few of my friends that are > looking for new stereos for > > their cars.
