We have recently done some tests of my ACM codec in Netmeeting and
it worked. The Wideband mode sounds great.
"Dark Avenger" has put his utility to his website darkav.de.vu
He converted some microsoft sample code to add the ACM codec
(from www.openacm.org) into Netmeeting.
Be warned however that mot every mode the ACM codec offers is
compatible with Netmeeting.
I will soon make a utility available on openacm.org that adds
some reasonable and compatible modes (narrowband, wideband,
ultrawideband) into Netmeeting.
I heard the GnomeMeeting people are working on getting Speex
integrated into their Linux client. However to be compatible
with the ACM, they will need to get their hands on the ACM
and Netmeeting first. ;)
Hence so far you can only use two Windows PCs that both have
the ACM installed.
