A hardware failure has put pan.zipxon out for a while. Hopefully it will be running by next week. In the meantime there is a partial mirror at: http://cuba.calyx.nl/~oink/ogg/

--- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'vorbis-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body. At the moment I have 1.2 GB of oggs and mp3s and I wonder how much GB are available on the original site. I also noticed the low speed: 22 KB/s (I have 10 mbps connection), from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM. How much faster is the 1:00 AM 1:00 PM time window? Thanks. [vorbis] Pan.zipcon is down <= http://cuba.calyx.nl/~oink/ogg is fine
Sadly, Mr. Goldstein's little Red Hat box decided to take an unannounced holiday ... however, I've made a partial mirror of his collection on: http://cuba.calyx.nl/~oink/ogg/ "cuba" is on 100mb, so bandwidth is not a problem here :) I've also put some of my own stuff on this box too, complementing Mr. Goldstein's impressive collection. If you have the right bandwidth, each directory has a .m3u file so you can listen to the files before downloading. For instance, I have some Bulgarian Woman's Choir Music (incredible singing), some Mongolian Khoomi Singing (singing two tones at the same time with the Mongolian Horse Violin) and some Baroque Music. I trust the encoding quality will make all happy :) boink On Thu, Apr 17, 2003 at 11:56:17AM -0700, al goldstein wrote:> A hardware failure has put pan.zipxon out for a while.
