Hello All, I have created a Vorbis Comment Editor for the win32 environment. It is completely untested and undoubtedly has bugs. That said, it is fairly stable and functional. It is a simple single dialog based app. I have released it under the GPL and have made code available. It is compiled statically with the latest CVS version of libogg & libvorbis and it uses the vcedit.c routines available from vorbis-tools CVS. Download it and give it a try. It is available at http://www.ozemail.com.au/~spitsw/vce/ Warren. --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'vorbis-dev-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body. I think there is no need in the property sheet version (as in todo), since everything is clean and transparent. The only will is to activate Modify when either Name or Value is clicked (double-clicked) in the list. Thats all I think. The rest is best. keep in touch. berk. * mailto:berk@nm.ru * http://berk.nm.ru * ICQ UIN: 49516372 * * The Go! operating system development: http://attend.to/go * --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'vorbis-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body. Congratulations for doing that, it was the main obstacle before the acceptance of Vorbis IMHO. Just one question: IIRC comments should be UTF-8 encoded. I tried to enter "Schütz" as artist and it has been stored "as is". Would it be possible to change the input fields in VCE to some Unicode-friendly format? (I don't know if MSVC has something like this). Has anyone Win32 enabled had a chance to look at it yet? As the person who started the thread on getting working comment editors, I congratulate you! This simple 42k (zip) program both meets my needs and does the job the way it should! Great work! -Rob ----- Original Message ----- From: "Warren Spits" <spits@cyberdude.com> To: <vorbis@xiph.org>; <vorbis-dev@xiph.org> Sent: Monday, January 29, 2001 8:37 AM Subject: [vorbis] Vorbis Comment Editor v0.1.0> Hello All, > > I have created a Vorbis Comment Editor for the win32 environment.
