I'm more or less indifferent as to whether or not vcedit (the core
comment editing code) stays GPL or changes to LGPL. However, since
Warren wants to keep it GPL, I think the best idea is this:
Make the plugin get appropriate info (like the filename, etc.) and
call vce as a seperate program. I don't know if you can pass vce a
filename like that at the moment, but it'd be a simple change if
needed.
