We're in the process of moving some xiph.org machines around, and for
that reason there will be a brief actual outage of Mail, WWW and CVS
today. However, the main DNS is also moving to a new IP address, and
that will take some time to propogate (the TTL is cranked way down, so
the limiting factor is probably the next Internic a.root update).
For that reason, xiph.org will not resolve from the outside world for
12-24 hours (perhaps longer for some broken DNS servers). If you
should want to get to web or cvs, the new machine IP for www.xiph.org
and cvs.xiph.org will be 207.181.249.22. This machine will also
answer DNS authoritatively for xiph.org until the real updates
propogate (but please, don't decide to use it permanently as your
nameserver ;-)
