Syslinux - May 2009 - help.

Hello, I hpe you can help.
I have created a botable thumbdrive that allows me to update different
bios's using the memdisk module.
I have no problems loading the img or ima files on any equiptment other than
IBM.
I have tried on T43, T60, and T61, no luck.
works fine on hp dell and all others tried.
Every time after it loads the image it hangs after the message
"Loading boot sector... booting..."
please help, I have looked all over and still no luck.

What version?  And please include the other messages.  All of them.

Then try different options to memdisk (raw, bigraw, etc.)

We have had a number of reports of this recently... it seems to have
something to do with the version of PC-DOS that they ship.

If it happens on T61 I might be able to replicate it locally, but not
for the next few days.

Correct, different issue. I had that problem and fixed it with a win98 disk, but
still no luck on IBM,s . It loads syslinux with initrd no problems.

Confirmed. Looks like this is a different problem from the one I was
usually seeing (where only PC-DOS would hang). On this machine, every
DOS-based floppy I tried hangs. FreeDOS gives most information, it
hangs after InitDisk, and one of the FreeDOS-based disk test floppy
images also reports "Invalid Opcode at 0003 0001 0202 0000 0002 0001
1000 FEE0 0000 0000 0000":

Also, this only happens when booting off USB. When I booted from CD
with isolinux and memdisk, the floppy images worked just fine.
