Hello, I hpe you can help. I have created a botable thumbdrive that allows me to update different bios's using the memdisk module. I have no problems loading the img or ima files on any equiptment other than IBM. I have tried on T43, T60, and T61, no luck. works fine on hp dell and all others tried. Every time after it loads the image it hangs after the message "Loading boot sector...

Syslinux on USB not seeing any files
...doesn't help. The pendrive is SanDisk Cruzer Contour 16GB, FAT32 formatted with mkdiskimage. One board where this happens is Gigabyte GA-8ST800 (both with BIOS versions F3 and F4). ISOs + memdisk take long time
Hi I would like to start a iso from my USB-Pendrive so I got a Hiren BootCD amd PartedMagic iso + GRUB 2 (1.98~20100115-1) on my USB-Pendrive. My problem it take up to 30sec until the ISO is booted my menu entry: linux16 /memdisk iso initrd16 /boot/iso/pmagic.iso Thanks for any hints M.
