[syslinux] Syslinux 3.81-pre14... hopefully final this time
I have addressed all the issues that I know about (including, hopefully, the isohybrid version dependence...). I would like to release this this week so please let me know as soon as possible if this version is "go". -hpa -- H. Peter Anvin, Intel Open Source Technology Center I work for Intel. Hi,> I have addressed all the issues that I know about (including, hopefully, > the isohybrid version dependence...). At least i would need the newer MBR code for libisofs. That'll impose a license problem. So on the risk to be annoying i repeat my proposal to make isohybrid ready for my use case of synthetic MBR production without the need to see an ISO image. http://syslinux.zytor.com/archives/2009-May/012494.html If an option -piped $ibsig $de_lba $imgsize is regarded to be ugly, then how about -signature $ibsig -lba $de_lba -imgsize $imgsize I would then give up the implementation of isohybrid in libisofs and rather call the original script at image generation time. Have a nice day :) Thomas

I can't even get a plain dos image to load on a ibm. The same image loads fine on hps Thanks, Nathan Elledge 602.621.3287-Cell Nelledge at acsi2000.com ----- Original Message ----- From: syslinux-bounces at zytor.com <syslinux-bounces at zytor.com> To: For discussion of Syslinux and tftp-hpa <syslinux at zytor.com> Sent: Tue May 26 20:31:06 2009 Subject: Re: [syslinux] Syslinux 3.81-pre14... hopefully final this time H. It's a total hack, but it should work. You need to argue with me more often. It seems to make me think. -hpa -- H. Peter Anvin, Intel Open Source Technology Center I work for Intel.
