Failed to boot USB drive via syslinux if kernel is not in /
Hi,
Sorry for asking this again if this have been asked. I searched this
mailing list but I can not find the confirmed answer.
We tried to use syslinux to boot USB flash drive. The problem is, if we
put the kernel and initrd in /casper directory, syslinux failed to boot,
it showed us:

casper-rw and PXE
Hallo, syslinux,
I'm working with an USB stick and an *.iso image.
On an USB stick I can use "casper-rw" and "home-rw" for persistent
directories/files. Under PXE I haven't yet found a similar option.
Is that a syslinux-/pxelinux problem, or is that a "casper" problem?
Example:

Ip Src rewite.
Hello folks..
Does any of you know if it is possible to rewrite the ip src in a packet.
I have a problem involving a DMZ with external IP addresses routed
trough a single WAN IP. When the server initiates a connection, it looks
like it comes from the WAN ip instead of it''s designated External IP
routed through the WAN.
So in short, Is it possible to rewrite the packet in the router,

Multipath Routing..
Ok folks, here goes..
I have been boggling with a problem for the past week, and still haven''t
found a solution..
I''m trying to route traffic from two providers through a Linux machine.
But that is not the problem. The ISP''s have provided me with a WAN IP
class for both of the lines, to be routed into a DMZ where the machines

Re [ogg]
Please read the documentation. I understand that you're a newbie, and
that you need help, but believe me, people write documentation for a
reason, and there's all sorts of good information in there.

UFS on zvol: volblocksize and maxcontig
Hi all!
First off, if this has been discussed, please point me in that
direction. I have searched high and low and really can''t find much info
on the subject.
We have a large-ish (200gb) UFS file system on a Sun Enterprise 250 that
is being shared with samba (lots of files, mostly random IO). OS is
Solaris 10u3. Disk set is 7x36gb 10k scsi, 4 internal 3 external.

book about "support vector machines"
Dear all,
I am currently looking for a book about support vector machines for
regression and classification and am a bit lost since they are plenty of
books dealing with this subject. I am not totally new to the field and
would like to get more information on that subject for later use with
the e1071 <http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/e1071/index.html>
package for instance. Does

brtfs on Solaris? (Re: [osol-discuss] [indiana-discuss] So when are we gonna fork this sucker?)
brtfs could be supported on Opensolaris, too. IMO it could even
complement ZFS and spawn some concurrent development between both. ZFS
is too high end and works very poorly with less than 2GB while brtfs
reportedly works well with 128MB on ARM.

No, no correrán en paralelo si usas los SVM de paquetes como e1071.
