[PATCH] x86: add volatile prefix for cpuid asm clauses
This is a bug fixing. So it needs go into 4.1. x86: add volatile prefix for cpuid asm clauses cpuid results are possible to be changed now. For example, changing CR4.OSXSAVE bit or setting MSR XCR_XFEATURE_ENABLED_MASK may change XSAVE related cpuid leave return values. The volatile prefix is required to avoid the second cpuid calls following some possible changing operations being optimized in

[PATCH] Fixing mwait usage when doing cpu offline
Hi, Keir, In debugging the issue "system hang when doing cpu offline", I identified a situation that could cause a dead lock. The scenario is: mwait_idle_with_hint inside play_dead will access per cpu variable, which causes #PF. The #PF handler will use printk, which will schedule a tasklet. In scheduling a tasklet, per cpu variables are needed, otherwise, there will be another #PF.

[PATCH] x86: Back port from latest Linux kernel to enable C2/C3 entry via MWAIT
Current xen-linux (2.6.18) not include support for Cx MWAIT entry method. Back port from latest Linux kernel (already there since 2.6.23). Without this patch, _CST method couldn''t get C states with FFH address space type. Thanks. I have already previewed the xenctrl.h. The following is what I understand: libxc is compiled to a file name after 'xc**' endding with '.so', xend communicates with domain0 through xc and domain0 communicates with hypervisor through privcmd. [PATCH 4/6] xen: export NUMA topology in physinfo hcall
This patch modifies the physinfo hcall to export NUMA CPU and Memory topology information. The new physinfo hcall is integrated into libxc and xend (xm info specifically). Included in this patch is a minor tweak to xm-test''s xm info testcase. The new fields in xm info are: nr_nodes : 4 mem_chunks : node0:0x0000000000000000-0x0000000190000000

[LLVMdev] Is it possible to convert C++ code to C++/CX code via a plugin of clang?
Hello Guys,I am developing a plugin of clang and hope it can convert some C++ functions to C++/CX wrapper classes for WinRT system. If so, it would do a lot of work automatically. Now I have been somewhere. Using clang libraries, I could fetch the elements of C++ code for example, return type, function name, parameter list and others. Should I inherit "clang::Decl" to express C++/CX

[PATCH V3] libxl: write IO ABI for disk frontends
This is a patch to forward-port a Xend behaviour. Xend writes IO ABI used for all frontends. Blkfront before 2.6.26 relies on this behaviour otherwise guest cannot boot when running in 32-on-64 mode. Blkfront after 2.6.26 writes that node itself, in which case it''s just an overwrite to an existing node which should be OK. In fact Xend writes the ABI for all frontends including console
