XCP HA disabled? Xen Maybe?
I have two systems loaded with XCP 0.1.1 and it works well. XenMotion, Live Migrations and automated installs are fantastic.
I am wondering whty the field for ha-enabled is read-only...
Is there any way I can change this so I can enable HA on XCP? So when a host fails the other hosts takes all the guests.
What would the best way to accomplish what I need?
Would XCP be the answer or straight

What is the maximum number of resource pools allow in Xen Cloud Platform?
Hi,
I am interested to know the maximum number of resource pools that allow in
Xen Cloud Platform. I cannot find any maximum number indicated in the
documentation.
Thank you,

[XCP] XenMotion?
I don''t see in the XCP or OpenXenManager documentation where I can do a XenMotion/live relocation of a running VM.
Can someone point me in the right direction?

[XCP] weight/cap VCPU-params ignores during migration
Good day.
I found that XCP ignores VCPU-params (weight and cap) after VM live migration, as well, as those parameters ignored if changed on running VM.
May I as someone with xcp cloud nearly check this bug? Thank you.

XCP - VM creation from template and netinst
Hi all,
i still have problem.. Some time I am able to install and other not. I tried
this on different machine either in a pool and either in a single
installation of XCP.
These are the steps I use to create a VM:
# set disk size
xe template-param-set uuid=9d8c3be5-f16b-7446-b978-e23551d8a77e
other-config:disks="<provision><disk device=\"0\"

[Fwd: XCP - extreme high load on pool master]
Good day.
We trying to test XCP cloud under some product-like load (4 hosts, each with 24Gb mem and 8 cores)
But with just about 30-40 virtual machines I got an extreme load on dom0
on pool master host: LA is about 3.5-6, and most time are used by xapi
and stunnel processes.
It''s really bother me: what happens on higher load with few thousands of
VMs with about 10-16 hosts in pool...

XCP Management Tools Inquiry
XCP Users:
As many of you are aware, there are several open source products available for everyone to use when working with XCP. I would like to get some feedback on the various tools to get a feeling on how people are using XCP and these tools.
Here are the tools that I am aware of (please respond if you are using another tool):

XCP Xen Cloud Control System schedule
Greetings all!
At the end of this next week, I''ll be releasing VM import and export
support for XCCS as well as a significant chunk of networking support,
including a few goodies to work with XCP''s openvswitch (XCCS 0.3.2). As
well, load balancer 0.4.1 will be available. 0.4.1 considers CPU load as
well as memory load in balancing the cloud.
Multitenant support and

Xen with Broadcom Tigon3 BCM5704
Greetings all:
Loading Xen up on a server with 2 of these GbE adapters. I''m using
the first one as the main interface and the second one for the NFS
storage network.
When things are running, I can see xenbr0 and pif shows it attached
to eth0, although I don''t see any peth0 or vif0.0. I can connect to the
main address on the machine without any problem.

XCP, XCCS, xe, and XVP, random thoughts
Well, that was a lot of alphabet soup acronyms :).
I''ve just been thinking about the claim in a prior post that using the
xe cli with XCP abnormally increases the XCP server load. The only way I
could see this happening is to be running xe from the servers command
line. I use xe extensively to do the grunt work of XCCS (Xen Cloud
Control System). I don''t see the loading

[XCP] new version available
[previously posted to xen-devel@ and xen-api@ but this might be of interest to xen-users@ too]
Hi,
I''ve refreshed the Xen Cloud Platform (XCP) .isos on xen.org with a new
development snapshot (labelled version 0.1.1). XCP is a collaborative
effort to build a complete cloud infrastructure platform, complete with
a powerful management stack, standards-based APIs, support for

XCP, just a quick poll
Greetings all:
Just a quick poll, is anyone out there still running 0.1.1 or 0.5
RC1 of XCP? Just checking to see if I can dump the bug workarounds out
of the next version of XCCS :).

XCP GUI management
Xen List
After planning for a year to move my Xen 3.4 classrooms to XCP I''m now
making an effort. With the old system I wrote many lines of bash scripts
around the xm command to group and manage my VMs. I used sudo to grant
privileges for each student to start, stop, console into, reboot, and wipe
their VMs without any interaction from me. Now with XCP I had the hope of
moving to the

XCP and OpenXenCenter
I just noticed OpenXenCenter (aka OpenXenManager) that is an open source
replacement for Citrix's XenCenter. This tool works with XenServer.
But as per the blog entry:
http://blog.xen.org/index.php/2010/02/09/xen-cloud-platform-installation/
it is also supposed to work with Xen Cloud Platform. XCP is licensed
GPL2 and is a combination of multiple packages.
Has the team looked at the
