Windows 7 x64 + GPLPV: STOP 0x00000101
When trying to use the GPL PV drivers with Windows 7 x64 (and testsigning turned on), I get a BSOD with a STOP 0x00000101 error. There''s also an error at the top that says "A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval."
Is this STOP error related to the HPET or other timing adjustments for Xen? Any advice on things I should

Uninstall gplpv 0.11.x (Unknown PCI Device)
Hi all,
i''ve been trying for two days to get rid of the gplpv drivers on a W2003Sp2 machine. I''ve followed all kinds of tutorials and suggestions but there must be something I''m doing wrong because even after having gone through all the process I always end up with an "Unknown PCI Device" that wants to be installed every time I reboot (either with or without

unistalling gplpv from win7x64 gives BSOD
I have installed the 210 gplpv (debug), when I try to update them with
current gplpv I get a BSOD even so when I try to uninstall them.
Now I have made a bootentry that specifies NOGPLPV, what gives me a
bootable system after such a crash, I found (uninstalling the leftover
driver packages after getting bsod during uninstall of the main package)
that uninstalling the net driver leads to bsod. Now

RE: Xen GPL PV and undesirable requirement for APIC (irq >15)
I certainly saw the issue with the non-APIC HAL, but I don''t see any
performance or CPU issues with the APIC MP HAL.

BSOD with GPLPV windows drivers
Hello.
I have encountered a problem with GPLPV drivers for windows.
It is similar (if not the same) as
http://old-list-archives.xen.org/archives/html/xen-users/2011-02/msg00709.html
Host is running 14 virtual machines with Windows XP. When I''m trying to
start 15-th windows VM it crashes with code 0x0000007b.
Booting to safe mode or with /nogplpv works ok.
15-th VM works fine if

GPLPV uninstaller
I''ve just uploaded a couple of .bat files to
http://www.meadowcourt.org/downloads/gplpv_uninstall_bat.zip that will
manually (and forcibly) uninstall GPLPV from your computer, which seems
to be necessary before doing upgrades from some versions. Run the
uninstaller, reboot, then install. There is a 0.9.x and a 0.10.x
uninstaller, which differ slightly, but the basic steps performed are:

Windows 2008 R2 64 bit BSoD
Hello.
I''m trying to get the lastest GPLPV binary (rev 238) working on an
Ubuntu Server host with Xen 4, but I''ve got some problems. The guest
is a 64 bit Windows 2008 R2.
After enabling test mode and rebooting, installing and rebooting again
(with /NOGPLPV) I can see all the Xen devices, but two (out of three)
Xen Block Device Driver have an exclamation mark; I don''t

GPLPV 0.10.0.69 Blue Screen 0x0000007B
Trying to install them on Xen 3.4.0, Intel E5345 Processors, Server 2008
64bit. I get the BSoD on boot with the 0x0000007B stop message. I''ve
got a bunch of 2003 32bits running on the same host with the 0.10.0.69
drivers and those are totally happy. I tried the boot once with NOGPLPV
idea mentioned in another thread, that didn''t do the trick.
Ideas anyone?

Question about /gplpv
Hi,
I have a question about the switch /gplpv in boot.ini
I see that some of the pv driver code is looking at this option; is
there is any other piece of code that looks at this option before the
drivers get loaded and perhaps change the bootpath or do something
fancy?
Thanks in advance,
Udas

GPLPV on windows 7, clean shutdown not working in some case
We have many domUs windows 7 64 bit on production systems, all with
build gplpv_Vista2008x64_0.11.0.238.msi.
Randomly, during install shutdown monitor service wasn''t created and we
not understand why.
All other things about gplpv are working, someone can help me to solve
this problem please?

Xen 3.3.1 + Windows 2008 x64 + GPLPV 0.9.12-pre13 = corruption?
Hi James,
I''m testing GPLPV 0.9.12-pre13 on Windows 2008 x64, and found some
interesting results :
- The drivers are NOT signed, even though I''ve install certs. Had to
use F8 on boot.
- both QEMU and Xen block device are active, which usually means
corruption is coming. Is this a known issue?

GPLPV 0.10.55 net misbehaviour
I''m using W2K2 32bit on a 3.2.1 Lenny-amd64 host. While the pv disk
driver works as expected, I encounter problems with the network driver.
I tried several installation scenarios, all with the same result.
My test looks like this:
I install gplpv, but without letting the networking driver install.
After reboot I RTL8139 ist still active and working, and gplpv devices
manage the disks.
