Bug#666135: XenStore tdb vs. reboot
Hello, I noticed a strace delay when running "virsh list" on my Xen-4.1.3 test server. On further investigation I noticed that in XenStore there were multiple /vm/$UUID entries suffixed by -$VERSION, especially I hat 16 entries for my dom0. For each reboot of the host I get a new entry. After disabling Xend I get the following output after a reboot: > root at xen5:~# xenstore-ls

Samba4 beta8: samba daemon doesn' t start nmbd daemon !
Hi anybody. I use Samba4 beta8 as AD DC. But also I need fully working file server with showing it at neighborhood. In Samba4 beta6 I run samba as main daemon, then nmbd that server could be showed at neighborhood. But in beta8 doc is written: "When running an AD DC, you only need to run 'samba' (not nmbd/smbd/winbind), as the required services are co-coordinated by this master

Incorrect GSSAPI Service Name for POP3
In pop3-login/client-authenticate.c, when sasl_server_auth_begin() is called, it does so with the service name of "POP3". GSSAPI uses this service name when obtaining its service credentials. The problem is that according to http://www.iana.org/assignments/gssapi-service-names , the service name should instead be simply "pop". This causes GSSAPI authentication to fail when

patch: mailboxcasecmp()
Here is a patch which adds mailboxcmp() and mailboxcasecmp() functions, similar to mailbox_equals(). Names were chosen to match strcmp() and strcasecmp(). I needed this for Johaness Berg's dspam plugin. It watches a folder "SPAM" and forcing this to be uppercase is unacceptable for me. (I also had to modify the plugin to use the new routine.) It's against dovecot-1.0.beta8

./configure and /or Makefile problem
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA512 This is on OpenBSD 3.x. I'll fully admit not being a savvy programmer and therefore unable to suggest a decent resolution. It seems that _something_ in either the main "configure" script or one of the Makefile.in templates is causing the Makefiles in src/auth and src/util to add two variables named "AUTH_CFLAGS" and

beginner question: how do I figure out why an app won't start? (RubyMine)
I''m building a new Ruby app with RubyMine. I built a basic app (just a homepage) and it is running fine. Next step is to get the app talking to MongoDb. I''m using this tutorial: http://www.mongodb.org/display/DOCS/Rails+3+-+Getting+Started also tried this one: https://github.com/RailsApps/rails3-mongoid-devise The problem is, after running through the tutorial and starting my

dovecot ldap auth bind and different directories
I have recently begun playing with Dovecot (1.0.beta8) and have run into an interesting scenario. The way my email system is set up is that users of different domains have completely different base dn's. For instance, if a user is part of test.com the bind dn would be uid=user,ou=People,dc=test,dc=com. The bind dn for user at domain.com would be uid=user,ou=People,dc=domain,dc=com. I

Windows Routing issue
Hello All, I took a break from trying to get Tinc working and have come back to it now with the release of 1.0.11. I have 2 Windows computers connected behind firewalls and everything seems to be correct, except I cannot seem to get any data past the server TAP interface. I can ping the Server TAP interface from the client, but no data will move through the TAP interface to the Internet. I have

beta8 + mbox + Thunderbird
Hi all, I'm still using beta8 (on FreeBSD 5.4-RELEASE). Recently I put a co-worker who's using Thunderbird (1.5.0.4) on it and he seemed to have lost some messages (which were delivered on the spool since seen on procmail logfile). I switched him on another server to play safe and tried to test it myself but failed to reproduce the issue. I myself use mutt on a daily basis with no
