Setting a call to be recorded before Xfer?
I need to allow the company operator to decide whether to record a call. (Car dealership that needs to coach salespeople). They don't want to record every sales call, just for the purposes of coaching certain employees on an ad hoc basis. The situation is: a. Call comes in on PSTN PRI b. Call is routed to operator in dialplan c. Operator ascertains that its a sales call for a salesman in

arules - getting transaction data in
Hi All Hoping someone can help me with the "transactions" object. I am struggling to get my data in. I know the answer is in the help somewhere I'm sure, I just cannot find it. Essentially, I have data in this format (though I can change it if it particularly unsuitable) Transaction_id, store , salesman, date_time , items 1 , waterfront, john ,

testing for differences in sums - how to?
If I want to test for a salesman effect on average sale, I model it as "Sale ~ Salesman". But what if I want to test for a salesman effect on total sales? How do I model that? Given a significant salesman effect, how do I follow up with the equivalent of Tukey's HSD to determine who the (indistinguishly) top salesmen are? If I add another factor, say "region" to the

Dovecot not listening when testing connection
Hi Webert -- Thanks for the quick reply and observation. When I try "telnet localhost 143" I get the same result. It does connect but then the connection is dropped. # telnet localhost 143 Trying ::1... Connected to localhost. Escape character is '^]'. Connection closed by foreign host. I never get the "* OK [CAPA....]" Thanks, On 04/20/2017 10:41 AM, Webert de

[LLVMdev] algebraic (de)optimizations form long chains of dependent operations
Hi, when I compile (clang -O3) and optimize (opt -O3) C-code like this: sum1 = val1 + val2; sum2 = val3 + val4; sum3 = val5 + val6; sum4 = val7 + val8; sum5 = sum1 + sum2; sum6 = sum3 + sum4; sum7 = sum5 + sum6; sum += sum7; I get bitcode like this: if.end152: ; preds = %if.then150, %if.else146, %if.end137

Dovecot not listening when testing connection
You won't have that "* OK [CAPA....]" message by doing telnet on port 993, as this is a secure port and the connection is encrypted. Either you need to use something as openssl or gnutls to test it that way, or telnet to imap port 143 (not encrypted). Data relationships for e-commerce: users, orders, addresses
Hi there I''m in the process of developing an e-commerce Rails app but am getting a little stuck on what models I should be working with on the order/checkout side of things. The app requires users to be registered and authenticated to checkout. So I already have a User model and an Order model (which belongs to a User). The Order model is largely similar to that used in the Agile Rails

[OT] Witty one liners or computer related proverbs
Dear All, I need some witty computer related proverbs or one liners that some of have used in the past as footers for your emails for example. I particularly remember a PERL based transliteration joke/footer that when run in PERL produces a witty output.... This is to fix a problem internally created by an over zealous salesman at my company pinning up A4 sheets with bullSh*t sales proverbs

OT: UPS battery vendor
Hi, folks. I need some new replacement batteries for rack-mount APC UPSes. My old vender... well, the salesman I dealt with for several years left about a year and a half ago, and last year's purchase was a disaster (wrong batteries, wrong batteries, months to get the shipping to return the wrong batteries...), so I'm looking for a new, reliable vendor who does US government contract

Better way to count Active Record Data?
I am trying to get hourly counts of orders between different price ranges from my database. I''m thinking there has got to be a better way than looping through each record and checking if the created_at time fits between hour 1, 2, 3, 4, etc of the day and then returning the count. Currently I am displaying just a total of the days sales that are between different dollar amounts this

[LLVMdev] def-use chains and use-def chains
Hi Duncan Sands, I frankly don't know what a variable gets converted to (SSA register or memory chunk). What I meant is, for example I1: int i, j=10; I2: scanf("%d", &j); I3: i = j + 1; Here I want to know whether the value of j in I1 reaches I3 or not. Best Regards, Srikanth Vaindam you didn't define what you mean by a variable. LLVM has virtual registers which are
