I have exactly the same problem. I also use an Intel Grafic. The screen he posted is exactly the same as by me. But I don't know how to solve this. I allready was in the AppDB.

Hi Folks, I got GTA: SA to start (even though the first screen is blank until I hi ENTER), but usually 5 sec. into it, it'll start to run really slow. So slow I can't play the game. I'm running Fedora 8 with a nVidia 8600 GT. I believe I have the manufacturer's drivers installed or lvidia, but I can't tell. I do have WoW working on it just fine, if that helps any. Thanks.
