Samba 3.0.20 and UserManager
Hi all. Just tried to upgrade our test PDC server from 3.0.14a to 3.0.20, and now i've stumbled in to the following error. Using the User Manager for Domains causes a "Procedure out of range" error. Using DameWare NT Utilities causes the application to crash. Tried both in WIN2000 and XP. If I downgrade to 3.0.14a again everything is OK. Server Manager works OK in both versions.

winbind users and vnc logins
Is there any way for winbind to authenticate vnc logins? I've got winbind up and running and working fine for local and gdm logins on a Fedora Core 3 installation. But when I try to set up vncserver on it, it doesn't recognize winbind users. There doesn't seem to be a PAM for vnc. So is remote access via vnc out of the question for winbind users?

Error log
I'm trying to get our legacy Microfocus Cobol database interface to work on a Linux box. I'm using WINE 20021007 built from source on Mandrake 8.2 (after removing default WINE install) I've fixed several problems in my config file, and imported some dll's that were missing. I can get to the login screen, but when I try to go any farther into the program I get this:

Hi, I not really keeping track of the revision numbers for releases. As for the tags, 1.1.8 is at http://svn.xiph.org/tags/speex-1-1-8/ and 1.0.5 is at http://svn.xiph.org/tags/speex-1-0-5 For older releases, the tags are sometimes just rel-x-y-y because that's what I was doing before the switch to svn (the tree was imported from cvs). Oh, and the 1.0 branch is in

Speex 1.0.5 and 1.1.8 are out!
Hi everyone, As many noticed, I just released 1.0.5 and 1.1.8 over the weekend. There isn't much new in 1.0.5, except that I added all the API changes from 1.1.x so that it's possible to write code that will work with both 1.0.5 and 1.1.8. As for 1.1.8, here are the changes: - Initial TI C5x port: I integrated a patch from Jamey Hicks - Some fixed-point improvements and fixes - Better

Speex on TI C6x, Problem with TI C5x Patch
Hi Jim, Thanks a lot for helping track problems with Speex. > There is a bit of work remaining to get the memory usage down for a > multichannel application. There have been some good posts over the > last couple of months about reducing memory usage. I think 1.1.8 incorporates all memory reductions proposed. Let me know otherwise. > Also, to nominally comply with the TI XDAIS

Shorewall in Mandriva
Hi Tom and folks, Mandriva is shipping shorewall in its main distribution for some time now. It is built on a custom .spec, but I keep it in sync with latest versions of shorewall package. I heard that there were some issues with Mandriva''s package of shorewall, but it was before I started working on it, and the guys that were maintaining it before are no longer working on it.
