Lucene and Zlib with 2.2.1
Hello, I have an "archive" folder in my inbox, where I manually stick old mails into a compressed mbox format. Since upgrading to Dovecot 2.2.1, I've started seeing messages like the following in my log files: imap(...): Error: lucene: Failed to sync mailbox INBOX: Mailbox isn't selectable indexer-worker(...): Error: lucene: Failed to sync mailbox INBOX: Mailbox

zlib plugin weirdness
Hello, I'm trying to get the zlib plugin working on my 2.0 server. I started with an mbox that Dovecot can read just fine. Then I gzipped it, and now Dovecot complains that it's corrupted: Error: Next message unexpectedly corrupted in mbox file /var/lib/vpopmail/domains/memoryhole.net/kyle/Maildir/Archive/Intellego.gz at 1907 Error: Unexpectedly lost From-line from

1.1 namespaces and message corruption
Hello, I've been trying out the new dovecot's namespace support, and I'm having some issues moving messages between namespaces. Specifically, when I move some messages from a Maildir-based namespace to an mbox-based namespace, the message gets corrupted: its contents are removed, and an entirely empty message is added to the destination mailbox. This is 100% repeatable (some

istream_read like zlib, but without zlib
Hy Timo ! I Made some modification in stream_read in zlib. I remove all zlib part, because i don't need this, but i need to read a istream to change it. Well, i create a size_t called supersize, with is a substitute for stream->zs.avail_in. The trouble is, my debug file have a lot of "READ Plugin\n", and i think it's because my read becomes a loop, i think it's because

Bug with zlib version checking for zlib >= 1.2.10, R version 3.3.2
Hi, Posting here as bugzilla is closed to registration. The zlib version checking code does not handle double digits for the patch version in the semantic versioning scheme. Consequently, a ./configure fails when using a zlib version ? 1.5.10. I suggest something like the following patch: --- a/m4/R.m4 +++ b/m4/R.m4 @@ -3116,7 +3116,7 @@ int main() { #ifdef ZLIB_VERSION /* Work around Debian

Feature request: don't fail if using -z from --with-included-zlib=yes to --with-included-zlib=no
Hello, I'm one of the Debian maintainers of rsync and I'm currently investigating the switch from "--with-included-zlib=yes" to "no" for the next stable release (ETA 2021). So basically I'm investigating what are the impacts of using upstream's zlib instead of rsync's bundled one. For the investigation I did simple transfers (1 file) using both

newer ZLIB and ZLIB-DEVEL
Greetings, I have need of a newer ZLIB and/or maybe the ZLIB-DEVEL. I need 1.2.2 or later and was told to go to www.zlib.net On that site, it mentions... zlib for Linux, both shared and static plus headers (RPM format, many architectures) so what I am wondering is this, is there a new ZLIB coming down the "upstream" pipe now or quickly? if there a specific YUM command to snag from

switching from SIP to Skype..or not
Your characterization may be true but Skype works much better than SIP when it comes to sound quality. I have SIP softphone with Asterisk server and Skype on the same workstation. Skype just works better over the same network. Ron On 12/03/2015 9:26 AM, A J Stiles wrote: > On Thursday 12 Mar 2015, Thufir wrote: >> I'm testing Asterisk at home, crummy connection. Asterisk as answering machine
I have connected a PSTN line to a Digium FXO card. There is also an ordinary analogue phone attached to the same line. The Asterisk answers the line on the first ring. I would like it to wait for a few seconds so that someone can answer the PSTN line with an analogue phone. This would allow a person to directly pick up the line if they wanted to or if not, let it go to the Asterisk where it

Showing CallerID on multiple phones
Hello; I certainly appreciate your response. In fact, I used that exact solution for three of the incoming lines. I setup ring groups and a silent ringtone for each phone. Unfortunately, the last incoming line is more complicated and uses an IVR with multiple input choices, so the solution is not as clear cut as for the other ones. That's why I was trying to look at other options. Best

ZLIB::GzipWriter - Strange file encoding?
Hey Folks, I have this code: Zlib::GzipWriter.open("file.gz") do |gz| gz.write(File.read("file.csv")) end Unfortunately this file doesn''t want to open correctly in UltimateZip. It shows a file inside, but doesn''t allow you to extract it. Am I missing something here? Seems pretty cut and dry... --------------------------- Brian Corrigan
